Ian Wasukira

Ian is an HPC Systems Administrator at the African Centre of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Data Intensive Sciences (ACE) at IDI-Makerere University, Uganda, where he supports high-performance computing infrastructure that drives cutting-edge bioinformatics and data science research across the region. He completed a training attachment at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) in Austin, Texas, USA under the NIH G11 HPC4HIV Project, deepening his expertise in HPC administration and bioinformatics workflows. He is passionate about extending research computing infrastructure and support to researchers across Africa.
