Biography
Syrus Semawule is a Bioinformatics expert at the African Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Data Intensive Sciences (ACE-Uganda), where he currently contributes to the AIMaR project, utilizing artificial intelligence to address critical challenges in malaria research. With an MSc in Bioinformatics from Makerere University, Semawule bridges the gap between large-scale genomic surveillance and precision structural biology.
