Offered by the School of Biomedical Sciences at the College of Health Sciences, in collaboration with the African Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Data Intensive Sciences (ACE). Focuses on computational biology, data analysis, and health applications.
Requirements
Eligibility
- Meet Makerere University's general postgraduate admission criteria (e.g., weighted GPA of 3.0+)
- Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in Life sciences e.g. Human Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Dental Surgery, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Cytotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical/Medical Laboratory Sciences, Environmental health, Veterinary Medicine, Zoology, or any other life science degree
- Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in Physical sciences e.g. Mathematics, Statistics/Biostatistics, Computer Science & IT, Physics or any other physical science degree.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Bioinformatics
